Vehicles Passing Through 		Stagecoach Western Volvo Olympian/Alexander 16289 (P289 VPN), Looking incredibly smart following an extensive overhaul at Kilmarnock. 16289 is apparently expected to be getting used on the 585 during the summer to help ease overcrowding on the route, no doubt Ardrossan will also use some Olympians, or Tridents as they have known to in the past.

Stagecoach Western Volvo Olympian/Alexander 16289 (P289 VPN), One of several Volvo Olys currently migrating north of the border from Hampshire, most of which are going to Fife but up to 6 are possibly expected with Western this being one.

Stagecoach Western Volvo B10M-62/Plaxton Interurban 52475 (R175 DNH), At last i catch up with it a good few months after entering service at Ardrossan folliowing its lengthy spell in the Glasgow JV fleet. Its seen here on Irvine High St preparing to take up another journey to Glasgow on the X44.

Stagecoach Western Volvo Citybus 15247 (E864 RCS), Its first time ever in swoops and its first time in service for well over a year as it arrives back into Cumnock Depot from an afternoon School contract.

September 2008 Observations 		Saturday 23rd February 2008 saw the last day in operation for the fleet of Articulated coaches at Cumnock.

** Special Feature ** - One Year On 		Stagecoach Western Volvo Citybus 15285 (B185 FFS), Rumour has it that there is to be a big movement of School buses around the Western fleet prior to the Schools starting back in mid august.

July 2008 Observations 		Stagecoach Western Volvo B10M/Jonckheere Modulo 52610 (S660 JSE), A recent acquistion to the fleet from Bluebird. Although allocated to Kilmarnock, it very rarely makes an appearance at the depot with it and sister coach 52611 being used on Citylink routes between Glasgow and Cambeltown.

Stagecoach Western Tranbus Dart SLF 34599 (SF04 VSZ), One of 9 low floor Darts delivered new to Kilmarnock in June 2004 to replace older step entrance B6's on Kilmarnock locals.

April 2008 Observations 		Stagecoach Western Leyland Olympian 13644 (G278 YRJ), One of several Tri-Axle Olympians that were imported to the UK from Hong Kong for use on Stagecoach's, cheap intercity travel operations, Megabus.com. They are nowadays however starting to be replaced by more modern Neoplan Skyliners and Plaxton Panther 15m coaches. The large majority of them are now withdrawn in the UK, several still exist with Western, mainly as dedicated Schoolbuses although 13644 is however an exception to that having now gained an allover ad for Craig Tara Holiday Park for use on Service A4.
